Berlin, Germany, 7th December 2009 - MWA Nova GmbH, a longstanding Berlin based company renowned for precision engineering in the film and audio industries, has today announced a major sales and marketing restructure. Adapting to market conditions, MWA Nova is focusing its sales and marketing efforts on its core business and emerging markets.
As part of this restructure MWA Nova is announcing its severance from sondor Willy Hungerbühler AG. "This separation will not impact MWA Nova's longstanding client base", commented Justin Haslam-Lucas, Corporate Business Manager. The company's respected manufacturing department, which oversees the R&D and production divisions, will also remain unaffected in Berlin.
Frank Ortwein, Director, MWA Nova explains, "MWA Nova has an impeccable reputation and brand that has been synonymous with solid manufacturing for over sixty years. The recent economic climate has had a major impact on the film industry. However, there are emerging markets - archiving, for example - that are gaining momentum. Archiving of important film footage is a growth area that is now being addressed and it requires a high level of expertise from companies like MWA Nova to succesfully achieve." He adds, "We have some major new customer announcements in the coming weeks and look forward to a very successful 2010."
